Full Time Faculty in Data Science at CEP CCIT FTUI

A 23-years old institution which is growing rapidly not only in education but also in research and IT Solutions, calls for young, potential, energetic, and valuable workers to join in 1 position as faculty members.The institution delivers 2 years of professional education who teach students to achieve an international level of expertise in Information Technology. It also develops and delivers some products in information technology solutions which are generated by one of the institution’s divisions.The faculty members shall play an important role in the business delivery as instructors and may be as part of the IT Solutions team who fulfill certain requirements. However, whole faculty members are supported to do some applied research as per market needs to enhance and expand the institution's establishment in the surroundings and further area.Responsibilities:Deliver teaching in Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Analytics.Develop, review, and maintain curricula, course materials, learning outcomes, and assessment methods for assigned courses.Ensure academic continuity and consistency in course delivery, including taking responsibility for courses previously handled by other instructors.Monitor and facilitate student learning activities to support a positive and productive learning environment.Evaluate and continuously improve teaching and learning processes to maintain high-quality education.Collaborate with academic and teaching teams on curriculum development and academic improvement initiatives.Perform other academic and educational responsibilities related to the assigned areas.Number of positions required: 1 position for Data Science FacultyGeneral Requirements:Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases; familiarity with NoSQL databases is an advantage.Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.Good attitude, responsible, confident, willing to learn, and able to work effectively as part of a team.Relevant professional certifications in data science, AI/ML, or related technologies will be considered an advantage.Minimum TOEFL Institutional Score of 450 or equivalent.Experience in developing applications, data science projects, AI/ML projects, or relevant industry projects is an advantage. Applicants may provide a portfolio or evidence of relevant work.Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds, relevant projects, certifications, or portfolios are welcome to apply.Specific Requirements:For Data Science Faculty :Strong understanding of machine learning using Python or R is required.Good understanding of at least one area of Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Data Mining, Deep Learning, or Pattern Recognition.Good programming skills in at least one programming language, preferably Python; knowledge of C/C++, Java, or other programming languages is an advantage.Good understanding of data analysis, data preprocessing, and data visualization.Familiarity with data visualization and Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python/R visualization libraries.Basic to intermediate knowledge of relational databases and SQL; experience with MySQL is an advantage.Experience in AI/ML, data analytics, software development, or relevant industry projects is an advantage.Compensation:Monthly Salary plus incentivesBonus on annual basisHealth InsuranceTraining for faculty at least once a year (or by request)Extra salary on additional job enrichmentPlease describe your skill & knowledge on CV in .pdf format & send to ccit@eng.ui.ac.id before Friday, 28 August 2026subject: “Faculty Job Assignment” or send a hardcopy to CCIT FTUI, Engineering Center 1st Floor, Fakultas Teknik, Kampus baru UI, Depok 16424.
