We know our patients by name, and our pharmacists have the time and autonomy to practice at the top of their license.Job Summary We are seeking a full-time licensed Pharmacist to join our team. You will review and fill incoming prescriptions with accuracy, counsel patients on their medications, and support the day-to-day clinical and operational needs of a busy independent pharmacy. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced community setting, communicates warmly with a diverse patient population, and takes ownership of quality and compliance.ResponsibilitiesReview incoming prescriptions for accuracy, therapeutic appropriateness, and potential drug interactionsCounsel patients on side effects, dosing, storage, and interactions with other medications and OTC productsVerify and oversee prescription filling, including third-party billing accuracyMaintain complete, audit-ready patient records and pharmacy documentationConduct regular inventory management, including controlled substance counts and proper receiving proceduresSupervise and support pharmacy techniciansEnsure compliance with all federal and Illinois pharmacy laws, DEA regulations, and PBM requirementsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentQualificationsCurrent Illinois pharmacist license in good standing with IDFPR (license verification required)PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited programImmunization certification (or willingness to obtain)Retail/community pharmacy experience preferred; independent pharmacy experience a plusFamiliarity with third-party billing and PBM claim adjudicationStrong customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitaskBenefits/PerksCompetitive salaryNo overnight shiftsSupportive, close-knit team environmentCareer advancement opportunities within a growing multi-location pharmacy groupDirect access to ownership — your input shapes how we operate
