Fullstack Java Lead

Job DutiesLead the design, architecture, development, and delivery of scalable full-stack applications across backend and frontend.Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.Develop and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.Design and develop scalable, responsive frontend applications using Angular and modern frontend practices.Architect and implement scalable Microservices-based solutions.Design and develop RESTful APIs and ensure reliable integration between systems and services.Design and implement event-driven and messaging-based architectures using RabbitMQ and/or Apache Kafka.Drive system design and architectural decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.Conduct code reviews and establish coding standards, development best practices, and quality guidelines across the team.Mentor and coach developers, support technical growth, and promote knowledge sharing within the team.Identify technical risks, challenges, and dependencies and proactively drive their resolution.Ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code while promoting engineering best practices.Define and promote automated testing strategies and ensure appropriate test coverage and quality standards.Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native development.Support performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and security improvements across applications and services.Take ownership of technical delivery and ensure projects are delivered according to agreed scope, quality, and timelines.Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the technology stack, architecture, and development practices.Technical Requirements10+ years of hands-on software development experience, with proven experience in a technical leadership role.Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.Strong hands-on experience with Angular, preferably recent/latest versions.Proven experience designing and implementing Microservices architectures in enterprise environments.Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, API design, and system integration.Solid experience with RabbitMQ and/or Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.Strong understanding of software architecture and system design principles.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment processes.Practical experience with cloud-native development and cloud platforms.Strong knowledge of database design, performance optimization, and integration patterns.Experience with automated testing, code quality, and software engineering best practices.Strong understanding of security, scalability, reliability, and performance considerations in application development.Experience with Git and modern development workflows.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software development practices.Non-Technical RequirementsProven technical leadership and ability to guide and influence development teams.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong mentoring and coaching capabilities with a focus on developing team members.Ability to take ownership and accountability for technical decisions and project delivery.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage technical dependencies, and work effectively under deadlines.Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with Product, QA, DevOps, Design, and other stakeholders.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and understandable business discussions.Proactive mindset with a continuous focus on improvement, innovation, and engineering excellence.
