Fullstack Software Engineer (Python/React.js)Location: London (Hybrid)Experience: 2 – 6+ YearsCompensation: Up to £170,000 Base + Industry-Leading Bonus!A leading FinTech firm in London is seeking a talented Fullstack Software Engineer to join its growing technology team. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-performance trading environment where technology is central to the firm’s success across multiple asset classes!They’ll find the best team to suit your skillset and interests, but you could be working on:Building modern, scalable full-stack applications using Python, React.js and TypeScript to support business-critical trading and operational platforms.Designing and developing robust backend services, APIs and microservices using Python.Building interactive, high-performance frontend applications using React.js to deliver intuitive user experiences.Developing real-time trading dashboards, analytics platforms and data visualisation tools used by traders, quantitative researchers and engineering teams.Python Backend Development: Python, FastAPI, Django, Flask, asynchronous programming and backend architecture.Frontend Development: React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, reusable components and modern frontend frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain scalable, high-performance full-stack applications.Build robust backend services, REST APIs and microservices using Python.Develop modern, responsive frontend interfaces using React.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.Integrate APIs, databases and real-time data sources to support business-critical applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including traders, quantitative researchers, product teams and fellow engineers.Requirements2 – 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.Strong experience in Python and/or React.js, with an interest in working across the full stack.Experience building backend services, APIs or modern frontend applications.Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, REST APIs and database technologies is advantageous.Understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms and clean code practices.Experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems or real-time applications is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline preferred.If the above opportunity is of interest, please apply or email me directly!Contact: agreen@hunterbond.com.
