Guided by a long-term academic vision, the organization is committed to building a robust learning ecosystem for professionals and students worldwide.Role Description The Mandarin Trainer will deliver engaging, structured Mandarin language sessions to learners in classroom settings at the Chennai campus. This part-time, on-site role involves planning lesson content, preparing teaching materials, and using interactive teaching methods to support learners at different proficiency levels. The trainer will assess learner progress through assignments, tests, and feedback sessions, and provide guidance to help learners improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The role also includes maintaining accurate training records, coordinating with academic staff on curriculum improvements, and ensuring a supportive, inclusive learning environment.Qualifications Strong command of Mandarin language (spoken and written), preferably at advanced or native-level proficiency.Experience teaching Mandarin or foreign languages in classroom or corporate training environments.Ability to design lesson plans, develop learning materials, and adapt teaching style to varied learner levels.Clear and effective communication skills in English to support instruction, explanation, and learner queries.Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies, language learning tools, and classroom technology.Relevant academic background in Languages, Education, Linguistics, or related field; formal Mandarin certification is an advantage.Strong interpersonal skills and a learner-focused approach, with the ability to manage diverse groups respectfully.Flexibility to work part-time on-site in Chennai and collaborate with the academic team on schedules and program requirements.
