We create innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers to answer society's needs today and in the future.We are looking for a SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Application Specialist who can support and enhance our transportation, logistics, and supply chain applications while ensuring business continuity, service excellence, and user satisfaction across our global organization.In your future role as SAP TM Functional Analyst, you will:Provide functional support and maintenance for SAP Transportation Management (TM) and related logistics applications.Facilitate the implementation, enhancement, and support of transportation management processes, including inbound and outbound transportation.Support shipper scenarios across multiple transportation modes, including road, rail, and ocean freight.Configure and maintain SAP TM master data, including products, business partners, dangerous goods, transportation networks, locations, routes, zones, lanes, resources, vehicles, and planning profiles.Support transportation planning, order management, execution, carrier selection, tendering, charge management, and settlement processes.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions.Support SAP Materials Management (MM) processes, including procurement, inventory management, stock transport orders, vendor consignment, MRP, and service procurement.Support SAP Logistics Execution (LE) and Warehouse Management (WM) processes, including inbound and outbound logistics, storage management, handling units, serial number management, and warehouse operations.Support integrations with SAP modules including SD, MM, LE, FI/CO, PM, and external applications such as Ariba, VIM, MES, and transportation management solutions.Manage EDI, IDoc, and ALE interfaces to ensure reliable system integration and business process continuity.Monitor application performance and ensure service delivery in accordance with agreed service levels.Act as an escalation point for users and third-party service providers regarding application-related issues.Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes, including Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities.Maintain accurate technical, process, and end-user documentation.Perform testing activities for system changes, enhancements, and projects.Support automation initiatives and continuous improvement programs within the application landscape.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, and Information Management.Great if you haveStrong expertise in SAP Transportation Management (TM).Experience supporting transportation planning, execution, carrier management, and freight settlement processes.Good understanding of SAP Materials Management (MM), Logistics Execution (LE), and Warehouse Management (WM).Knowledge of EDI, IDoc, ALE, and application integration frameworks.Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management.Experience supporting global logistics and supply chain operations.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Experience working within application support, incident management, and change management environments.SAP TM certification is advantageous but not mandatory.We believe you are...Customer-focused and service-oriented.Results-driven with a proactive approach to problem solving.Strong in stakeholder management and relationship building.Analytical and capable of translating business requirements into effective system solutions.Self-motivated, accountable, and quality-focused.A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.Comfortable working in a global and multicultural environment.We believe you bringBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.Minimum 3-6 years of hands-on SAP Transportation Management (TM) experience.Overall experience within SAP Logistics and Supply Chain applications is preferred.At least one full-cycle SAP TM implementation experience.Experience working with transportation, logistics, and warehouse management processes.Strong understanding of application support and IT service management practices.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.We offer youAt Nouryon, we not only offer an exciting role and great colleagues, but also benefits in addition to your salary.Are you passionate about digital transformation, innovation, operational excellence, and collaboration?
