The role involves working closely with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements, translate them into functional solutions, configure the platform, and ensure successful implementation and adoption.The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of HRMS/HR processes, hands-on experience with Darwinbox or similar HR technology platforms, and excellent client-facing and communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and analyse client business requirements across HR processes.Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, and process discussions with stakeholders.Map existing HR processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.Configure and support HRMS modules based on approved requirements.Coordinate with technical teams for integrations, customisations, and data migration requirements.Prepare functional documentation, process flows, configuration documents, and user guides.Support system testing, SIT/UAT, defect tracking, and resolution.Conduct user training and support client teams during implementation and rollout.Manage client communication and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies.Support go-live activities, post-production issues, and hypercare.Ensure successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.Required Skills & Experience3–7 years of experience in Functional Consulting, HRMS implementation, or HR technology projects.Hands-on experience with Darwinbox is highly preferred.Experience with other HRMS/HCM platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM/Fusion, PeopleStrong, or Ramco will be considered.Strong understanding of core HR processes such as Employee Lifecycle, Recruitment, Leave & Attendance, Performance Management, Payroll, and HR Operations.Experience in requirement gathering, functional analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation.Good understanding of SIT, UAT, defect management, and implementation lifecycle.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience working on Malaysia-based or APAC HR technology projects.Understanding of Malaysia-specific HR/payroll processes and statutory requirements.Experience working with enterprise clients and managing multiple stakeholders.Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for a client-focused Functional Consultant who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technology, take ownership of functional delivery, and contribute effectively to successful HRMS transformation projects.
