Functional Consultant - Digital Health

We are hiring a Healthcare Systems Functional Consultant to join a growing digital health delivery team supporting large-scale clinical system programmes.OverviewAn opportunity has opened for an experienced Functional Consultant to support the delivery, optimisation, and ongoing enhancement of a leading electronic health record (EHR) platform.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of clinical workflows and technology, contributing to both project-based implementations and long-term support engagements.Key responsibilitiesSupport end-to-end system delivery across implementation, optimisation, and managed services engagementsAnalyse clinical and operational workflows to identify improvement opportunities and system configuration requirementsConfigure and tailor EHR modules to align with business and clinical needsCollaborate with technical and clinical stakeholders to ensure effective solution design and deliveryContribute to testing phases including system validation, user acceptance testing, and deployment readinessProduce and maintain clear documentation including build specifications, test cases, and configuration recordsProvide post-deployment support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiativesStay up to date with platform enhancements, industry trends, and best practice approachesRequirementsDegree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related disciplineProven experience working with hospital-based EHR systems, with exposure to clinical modules such as perioperative, emergency, or women’s health workflowsStrong understanding of healthcare environments and clinical system usageExperience working within structured implementation or consulting frameworksStrong problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skillsComfortable working across distributed teams and multi-site environmentsWhat’s on offerExposure to large-scale healthcare transformation programmesCollaborative, multidisciplinary working environmentOpportunities to develop deeper expertise across clinical systems and digital health solutionsRecruitment processThe role has recently opened so please apply within and once your application is reviewed you will be contacted if your profile meets the necessary requirements.
