Experience: 1 - 2 yearsLocation: ChennaiEmployment Type: Full-timeWork Mode: On-siteJob Description:We are looking for an experienced ERP Finance Consultant specializing in Finance to join ourteam. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing OdooERP from a finance perspective for our clients. Your role will involve understanding clients’financial processes, configuring Odoo to meet their accounting needs, providing training, andoffering post-implementation support.Key Responsibilities:Pre-Sales Responsibilities• Understand the customer's current business processes, accounting workflows, and painpoints.• Gather and analyze client requirements during discovery sessions.• Configure Odoo demo environments based on customer requirements.• Demonstrate Finance module capabilities to prospective clients.• Prepare solution documents, fit-gap analysis, and implementation estimates.• Work closely with the Business Development team during proposal preparation and clientdiscussions.ERP Implementation Responsibilities• Configure Finance modules including Chart of Accounts, Journals, Taxes, Fiscal Positions,Payment Terms, Bank Reconciliation, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Multi-Currency.• Perform master data migration and opening balance validation.• Configure financial workflows based on client business processes.• Execute testing (UAT), resolve issues, and support Go-Live activities.• Coordinate with Technical Consultants for customizations and integrations.• Prepare implementation documents and maintain project documentation.Customer Training & Support• Conduct end-user training sessions.• Prepare user manuals and training materials.• Provide post-Go-Live support.• Troubleshoot finance-related ERP issues.• Assist customers in report generation and statutory compliance.• Ensure successful customer adoption of the ERP system.Internal Training & Team Development• Develop and maintain implementation templates and documentation.• Share knowledge and best practices across teams.• Support onboarding and training of new consultants.• Participate in internal learning and product update sessions.• Contribute to process improvements and quality standards.New Product Development & Innovation• Participate in designing new ERP features and finance solutions.• Analyze customer feedback to recommend product improvements.• Assist in developing reusable implementation templates.• Test new ERP releases and product enhancements.• Contribute to finance localization and automation initiatives.Requirements:• Experience with any ERP, specifically the accounting module.• Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting standards, and reporting.• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.• Ability to train and support end users.
