Functional Trainer – Global Partner Enablement

About the RoleWe are looking for a Functional Trainer to join the Global Partner Enablement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality remote and classroom-based training programs aligned with regional (GEO) timings, as well as developing and maintaining relevant training content.This role is ideal for an engineering professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and an interest in training, learning, and technology enablement.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver functional and technical training through virtual and classroom sessions based on regional GEO timings.Develop, update, and maintain training materials, presentations, exercises, demonstrations, and other learning content.Translate complex engineering and manufacturing concepts into clear and engaging training sessions.Conduct training sessions for diverse audiences across different geographies.Adapt training delivery and content based on learner requirements and feedback.Stay updated with relevant engineering, manufacturing, CAD/CAM, PLM, ERP, and emerging technologies.Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and relevant.Support continuous improvement of training programs, methodologies, and learning resources.Maintain a high standard of written and verbal communication during training and stakeholder interactions.Demonstrate flexibility to work according to different regional time zones when required.Mandatory Skills & QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience, with readiness to continue in the Functional Trainer role for at least 2 years.Strong understanding of:Engineering fundamentalsEngineering graphics and technical drawingGeometryEngineering visualizationManufacturing fundamentalsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to audiences with different levels of technical knowledge.Comfortable delivering both remote and classroom-based training.Good-to-Have SkillsExperience or knowledge in the following areas will be an advantage:CADCAMPLM3DEXPERIENCE platformDassault Systèmes tools and multi-brand topicsManufacturing systemsMESSAPERPSQLMBSE / SysMLNetVibesVTaaSAI/MLCandidate ProfileWe are looking for candidates who are:Passionate about technology, engineering, and knowledge sharing.Confident in delivering presentations and technical training.Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills.Comfortable working with geographically distributed teams.Adaptable to different audiences, cultures, and time zones.Willing to continuously learn and develop expertise in new technologies.Able to create engaging and technically accurate learning content.Joining RequirementImmediate joiners and candidates who can join at the earliest are preferred.How to ApplyInterested candidates with the required engineering background and technical skills are encouraged to apply with their updated CV/resume highlighting relevant engineering, training, CAD/CAM, PLM, manufacturing, or technology experience.Send your CV to: careers@sochsolutions.com
