🚀 Funded PhD position in our research group in RomeWe are recruiting for a three-year funded PhD position in our group at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, within the Italian National PhD Programme in Artificial Intelligence – Health and Life Sciences, 42nd cycle.We are looking for a bright, curious and highly motivated candidate with a strong quantitative background who is interested in developing innovative artificial intelligence methods for studying the brain, biological systems and human health.Depending on the candidate’s interests and expertise, the PhD research may address one or more of our group’s core areas:🧠 NeuroAI and computational neuroscience🤖 foundation models, deep learning and generative AI🕸 graph machine learning and brain-network analysis🩻 multimodal neuroimaging, including MRI, PET and CT⚡ EEG, MEG and intracranial signal analysis🎯 neuromodulation, focused ultrasound and neurotechnology🧬 quantitative biomarkers and personalised medicine📊 physical, mathematical and causal modelling of biological systemsWe particularly welcome candidates with backgrounds in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, data science or closely related quantitative disciplines.
