The group collaborates with global and regional brands such as Adidas, Landmark, Apparel Group, Skechers, Tim Hortons KSA, and many others, offering a dynamic, growth-oriented environment for design professionals.Role Description The Furniture Layout Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates. The designer will plan and develop furniture layouts for retail outlets, ensuring optimal space utilization, customer flow, and brand consistency. Daily responsibilities include creating detailed layout drawings, preparing 2D and 3D visualizations, coordinating with project managers and joinery teams, and aligning designs with client requirements and AAG standards. The role involves reviewing site measurements, updating layouts based on feedback, supporting fit-out execution, and collaborating with lighting, fixtures, and visual merchandising teams to deliver cohesive retail environments. The Furniture Layout Designer will also participate in client presentations, refine design concepts, and ensure all layouts comply with safety, quality, and technical guidelines.Qualifications Strong skills in furniture and interior layout planning, including space planning and retail floor design.Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools) for 2D and 3D drawings.Experience with retail environments, fixture integration, and coordination with joinery and fit-out teams.Ability to interpret architectural plans, site measurements, and technical specifications accurately.Solid understanding of ergonomics, circulation, and safety standards related to furniture layout.Strong visual communication skills, including preparation of mood boards, presentations, and design documentation.Effective collaboration skills to work with project managers, engineers, and clients in a fast-paced setting.Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a closely related field.Previous experience in retail design or fixture manufacturing is highly beneficial.Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving client and project requirements.How to Apply Send your CV and portfolio to hrmanager@800Retail.com or WhatsApp +971 56 539 8828.
