Future Opportunities - Technical Manager (Taif & Jazan )

The role of the "Technical Manager" is to be responsible for all technical requirements for all typologies Attraction rides anddevices within the complex. Thise role will involve active participation during Detailed Design stage through to ride and device installation onsite, working alongside consultants & manufacturers, aiming to implement SEVEN's maintenance requirements, processes & technical pre & post opening requirements, ensuring operational readiness.Key ResponsibilitiesManagerial & Strategic ResponsibilitiesActive collaboration with operation & project attraction team and several project management consultantsClose communication with ride manufacturers engaged with the SEVEN portfolioDeal with best international safety practices and local authorities' regulators in KSAManage the technical requirements of rides/devices during their implementationCore ResponsibilitiesWork closely with SEVEN's Operation & Project Attraction team to support the maintenance strategy in line with the business operation plan of each complexReview and comment on Concept, Schematic, and Detail Design package reports in alliance with SEVEN's Project Strategy and protocolsEvaluate local and international market opportunities, including contractors, specialist suppliers, service providers, certified spare parts distributors, and trading companiesWork closely with the QHSE team in the development and implementation of ISO systems and certificationsDevelop, implement, and ensure compliance with maintenance strategy management, including: Planned maintenance scheduling and compliance with industry standards and manufacturer requirementsCorrective maintenance management and root cause analysisPlanned maintenance task completion and KPI trackingAnnual certification/recertification of attractions rides and devicesEmergency evacuation procedure complianceCalibration and certification schedules for tools and equipmentTechnical team competency development and training managementSpare parts strategy and stock availabilityRide and device modifications in collaboration with manufacturers and IBAsset management systems and operating module uploadsRide and device readiness and reliabilityCompliance with QHSE policies and sustainability requirementsO&M Manuals, Technical Bulletins, and Service Bulletins managementDevelopment and review of technical documents, SOPs, technical manuals, troubleshooting guides, evacuation procedures, PM checklists, REHAB and NDT schedulesMonthly operational reportingDevelop, forecast, monitor, and achieve operational budgets, including CAPEX and pre-opening expensesDevelop and achieve departmental and company objectives, action plans, and KPIsPeople Management ResponsibilitiesStrong communication skills in English; written and spoken Arabic is preferableInterpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skillsStrong visionary leadershipStrategy implementation and time management skillsCultural awarenessRequirementsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical fieldExperienceMinimum 8 years of experience in the leisure and attraction industry, preferably within theme parksFamiliarity with EN13814 and ASTM F24 ride standardsExperience with attraction rides, wind tunnels, dark rides, climbing walls, e-karting, and playground systemsProven experience in theme park/FEC ride maintenance and certification processesStrong knowledge of roller coaster maintenance, rehabilitation, certification, evacuation procedures, and LOTOExperience with thrill rides, family rides, kiddie rides, climbing walls, and related attraction system
