Vaunt is committed to curatorial excellence, artistic integrity, and championing future-facing voices in contemporary art.Role Description The Gallery Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Woodinville, WA, responsible for leading the daily operations and strategic direction of Vaunt Gallery. This role oversees exhibition planning and installation, artist relations, and curatorial programming to ensure a cohesive and engaging visitor experience. The Gallery Director manages sales and client relationships, including cultivating collectors, coordinating acquisitions, and maintaining accurate inventory and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising staff, scheduling and hosting events, liaising with vendors, and ensuring the gallery space is professionally maintained. The role also involves developing marketing and outreach initiatives, building partnerships within the local and global art communities, and supporting the gallery’s brand and reputation.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in gallery operations and management, with strong knowledge of Gallery and Art Gallery practices.Background in Arts Administration, including organizing exhibitions, managing budgets, and coordinating events.Solid understanding of Art History and contemporary Art, with the ability to discuss and contextualize works for diverse audiences.Proven skills in client relationship management, sales, and collector development within an art-focused environment.Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Arts Administration, or a related field; advanced studies or equivalent professional experience preferred.Proficiency with gallery management software, digital cataloging tools, and standard office applications.Ability to work on-site in Woodinville, WA, including occasional evenings and weekends for openings and special events.
