Representing some of the top artists of our time, including the best-selling photographer in the world, David Yarrow, and the fine jewelry of NIGHTHORSE. Our SoHo gallery is growing fast, and we are hiring the person who will take it to its full potential.We are looking for a leader who raises the bar, both in the strength of their own sales skills and in their willingness to work hard alongside the team. You will build and grow a strong book of business, create lasting collector relationships, and serve as a true, inspiring mentor who develops a team of high producers. Above all, you will be a champion for the gallery, its artists and its collectors.What We Are Looking For: An accomplished sales professional from luxury retail, fine jewelry, high end hospitality or the art world, with a record of proven performance and a stable work history. Experience living and working in New York, with real connections here. Someone who leads by example on the sales floor and is committed to thoughtful, consistent follow-up. Expertise in art or jewelry is welcome but not required; we hire for drive, alignment and results. Excellent interpersonal skills with clientele, co-workers and colleagues. Upholds integrity in all business matters. Key Responsibilities
· Lead and drive sales performance of the Soho location. Continually activate sales opportunities; build on the sales skills and performance of the team, and strengthen client engagement. Model excellence in these areas. · Collaborate with the Gallery Owner and Art Advisors to create ideas and opportunities to grow the brand and sales. · Monitor sales performance and business KPIs, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas requiring intervention.· Lead, coach, and develop Art Advisors; build, attract, and retain a high-performing team.· Client-centric with an ability to drive a unique and consistent luxury shopping experience.· Foster a collaborative, and high-expectation environment that reflects the Gallery’s values.· Be a visible and hands-on leader, actively engaged with the location team and clients. · Follow and, where appropriate, make recommendations to improve operational aspects of the business. Compensation: $135,000+ base plus uncapped incentives tied to personal sales, gallery performance and key sales milestones, along with a benefits package. Total earning potential will include incentives and will be well above base for strong performers. Actual offer amount is dependent on skills, and experience brought to the role. This range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
