The Gallery Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the gallery across its two London locations, ensuring all areas are secure, organised and well maintained.The role encompasses gallery and facilities management, art fair planning and delivery, and support to the Directors. Responsibilities include coordinating suppliers and contractors, managing operational schedules and gallery events, overseeing art fair logistics and installations, and line managing the Registrar to ensure artwork movements, shipping, inventory, and documentation are delivered accurately and efficiently.Working closely with the Directors and wider gallery team, the Gallery Manager plays a central role in coordinating operations across the business.Principal AccountabilitiesGallery ManagerOversee day-to-day operations across gallery's two locationsManage staff rotasLine management of Registrar, overseeing priorities, workload and operational deadlinesManagement and oversight of gallery premises, ensuring all areas are secure, organised and well maintainedManage premises related suppliers, contractors and service providersPlan and oversee event logistics: gallery events, private views, dinnersMaintain and improve gallery procedures, systems and operational processesHR - support team coordination, onboarding and administration as requiredResponsible for gallery’s AMLArt Fair ManagementPrimary point of contact with fair organisersManage applications, contracts, deadlines, schedules and documentation of fairsCoordinate and oversee timelines, ensuring key logistical and communicational deadlines are met Coordinate team to ensure sales materials and supporting information are prepared in advanceOversee Registrar’s management of: shipping, framing, production, installation and deinstallation with external suppliersOversee booth build, lighting, furniture, signage, AV and technical requirementsPrepare and monitor fair budgets and associated costsCoordinate VIP passes, guest requirements, dinners and related fair eventsManage post-fair reporting, including costs, sales and operational reviewAdministrative Support for DirectorsProvide administrative and organisational support to DirectorsOversee post-sale coordination where required Coordinate business travel, accommodation and itineraries where requiredKey Performance IndicatorsGallery ManagerSmooth and consistent management across gallery's two locationsOperational priorities, deadlines and issues managed proactivelyRegistrar effectively managed on basis of agreed deliverables and deadlinesHigh standards of gallery presentation, with visitor experience maintained across both locationsComply with requirements of UK AML legislation, maintaining up to date records and frictionless client relationsArt Fair ManagementApplications, materials and key deliverables completed ahead of deadlinesFair logistics, production, shipping and installation delivered on scheduleFairs delivered within agreed budgets, with variances communicated in advanceSales and presentation materials completed ahead of openingTimely post-fair reporting and operational reviewAdministrative Support for DirectorsDirectors effectively supported to meet strategic, commercial and operational goalsSchedules, travel, and supporting materials managed accurately and proactivelyRequests, deadlines and follow-up actions completed in a timely mannerClear communication maintained between Directors, the gallery team and external contactsSalary: £42,000–£45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.To apply: Please send your CV and cover letter to office@edelassanti.com, with the subject line “Gallery Manager Application – [Your Name]”.Application deadline: 11th October, 2026
