Makera is a gaming and digital entertainment company reaching 1M+ monthly active users, with a strong concentration of Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences across MENA and international markets.We are hiring a Game Producer to take ownership of games within Makera’s UGC portfolio.This role is responsible for the full game lifecycle, from concept and production planning through launch, updates, LiveOps, and ongoing optimization.You will work across product, game design, development, art, QA, community, and monetization to ensure our games are delivered on time, meet quality expectations, and continue improving after launch.Your Main ResponsibilitiesGame OwnershipOwn the production lifecycle of assigned games from concept through launch and ongoing LiveOpsDefine production plans, milestones, priorities, and release schedulesEnsure each game has clear goals across gameplay, retention, monetization, content, and growthMaintain a clear understanding of the current state of each game and what needs to happen nextTake responsibility for getting updates and releases shippedProduction ManagementTranslate game concepts and product goals into clear tasks and production roadmapsCoordinate developers, game designers, artists, configurators, QA, and other contributorsManage priorities, dependencies, blockers, and deadlines across multiple workstreamsEnsure features are properly scoped before entering developmentKeep projects moving and escalate issues early when timelines or quality are at riskMaintain accurate production boards and documentationGame Design & Product DirectionWork closely with designers and leadership on gameplay systems, progression, economy, and contentReview features from both a player experience and commercial perspectiveHelp prioritize features based on their expected impact on engagement, retention, and monetizationUnderstand player behavior and use it to influence future updatesEnsure new features fit the overall direction of the game rather than becoming disconnected additionsLiveOps & ContentPlan and manage ongoing game updates, events, seasons, content drops, and resetsMaintain a consistent release cadenceCoordinate seasonal content and major game updatesWork with community teams to understand player feedback and recurring issuesTurn player feedback and performance data into actionable improvementsEnsure post-launch issues are identified and resolved quicklyPerformance & OptimizationMonitor key game metrics including player activity, retention, engagement, monetization, and conversionIdentify underperforming areas of the game and propose improvementsEvaluate the performance of major updates and features after releaseWork with leadership to prioritize changes based on data and player behaviorContinuously look for ways to improve the long-term performance of each titleQuality AssuranceEnsure features are properly tested before releaseCoordinate QA processes across major updates and launchesMaintain clear acceptance criteria for important featuresIdentify production risks before they impact playersEnsure released content meets Makera’s quality standardsMain RequirementsMust-haves3–5 years of experience in game production, game development, product management, or a related roleExperience managing games or digital products through multiple stages of developmentStrong understanding of game development pipelinesAbility to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across development, design, art, and QAStrong project management and organizational skillsAbility to turn high-level ideas into clear execution plansStrong understanding of player experience and live game operationsComfortable working in a fast-moving environment with multiple prioritiesStrong English communication skillsWho is the Ideal Candidate?We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:UGC gamesLive-service gamesMultiplayer gamesFree-to-play gamesGame economies and progression systemsLiveOps and seasonal contentGaming communitiesGame analyticsMonetizationStartup game studiosExperience managing games with active player communities would be a major advantage.You do not need to be a programmer, but you should understand how game development works well enough to communicate effectively with technical teams and make realistic production decisions.Key SkillsYou take ownership.
