Job SummaryA confidential organization is seeking an experienced IT & Gaming Systems Specialist to support the technology requirements of a private household in Abu Dhabi.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing high-end gaming systems, computer hardware, network infrastructure, servers, Wi-Fi connectivity, and digital entertainment platforms within a private environment.This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and a high level of discretion. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for gaming technology and the ability to deliver a seamless, high-performance technology experience.Key ResponsibilitiesGaming Systems & HardwareBuild, configure, maintain, and optimize high-performance gaming PCs and systems.Benchmark and fine-tune gaming systems to achieve optimal performance and stability.Manage thermal performance, power delivery, component compatibility, and system optimization.Conduct regular system maintenance, including deep cleaning, diagnostics, benchmark testing, firmware updates, and hardware upgrades.Troubleshoot hardware, software, peripherals, and gaming-related technical issues.Network & ConnectivityManage and maintain LAN infrastructure to ensure reliable and low-latency connectivity.Optimize Wi-Fi coverage and performance, including wireless mesh networks.Monitor network performance, connectivity, bandwidth, and latency.Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.IT Infrastructure & SystemsMaintain and troubleshoot home/estate technology infrastructure.Configure and manage VPNs, firmware, backups, and security solutions.Ensure systems are regularly updated, secure, and operating efficiently.Support the integration and maintenance of digital entertainment and media systems.Maintain accurate records of equipment, configurations, warranties, and technical requirements.The Ideal CandidateMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT, gaming systems, computer hardware, or a similar technical environment.Strong practical knowledge of high-end gaming PCs, hardware components, and gaming platforms.Excellent understanding of networking, Wi-Fi optimization, LAN infrastructure, latency, and QoS.Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft environments.Experience with VPNs, cybersecurity best practices, firmware management, and system updates.Advanced troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking.Genuine passion and strong knowledge of PC gaming and online gaming.Customer-focused approach and previous experience providing direct technical support to individuals or VIP clients.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a confident and professional personality.Methodical approach to troubleshooting with strong attention to detail.Proactive, flexible, and able to respond to technical requirements outside standard working hours when required.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Exceptional confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism are essential due to the private nature of the environment.Willingness to work in a private household/VVIP environment and respect strict privacy requirements.
