Job Title: Garage ManagerLocation: AngolaDepartment: Fleet & Workshop OperationsReports To: Operations Manager / General ManagerEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Garage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our automotive workshop in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vehicle maintenance and repair activities, leading a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with UAE safety standards, controlling workshop costs, and maximizing vehicle uptime.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day operations of the garage and workshop.Supervise mechanics, technicians, electricians, and workshop staff.Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and repairs for company vehicles.Ensure timely diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.Monitor workshop productivity and minimize vehicle downtime.Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, lubricants, and workshop equipment.Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for parts procurement and service requirements.Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and vehicle history.Prepare maintenance budgets and monitor workshop expenses.Conduct quality inspections before vehicle handover.Ensure workshop cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety procedures.Train and mentor workshop staff to improve technical performance.Generate daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports for management.RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or a related field.5–10 years of experience in garage/workshop management, preferably in the UAE or GCC.Strong experience managing fleet vehicles, passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, or heavy equipment.Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and workshop operations.Experience with workshop management software or fleet management systems.Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.Preferred ExperienceExperience in transport, logistics, construction, automotive dealerships, or fleet management companies.Familiarity with UAE RTA regulations and fleet compliance requirements.Experience managing workshop KPIs and maintenance budgets.Key SkillsFleet & Workshop ManagementPreventive Maintenance PlanningVehicle DiagnosticsTeam LeadershipInventory & Spare Parts ManagementBudget & Cost ControlHealth & Safety ComplianceVendor ManagementReporting & DocumentationTime ManagementSalary & BenefitsCompetitive salary (based on experience)Visa and Medical InsuranceAnnual Leave as per UAE Labour LawAir Ticket (as per company policy)Annual Performance Bonus (if applicable)
