Team members are encouraged to contribute ideas that improve productivity and equipment performance.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dhaka for a Garments Product Manufacturing / Sewing Machines Maintenance professional. The role involves performing routine and preventive maintenance on industrial sewing machines and related equipment to ensure smooth and continuous production. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, repairing or replacing parts, calibrating machines for different garment styles, and maintaining maintenance logs. The role also requires collaborating with production supervisors and product specialists to minimize downtime, provide technical guidance to sewing operators, and support quality control by ensuring machines operate within required standards. The team member will follow safety protocols, participate in equipment upgrades, and assist in training colleagues on proper machine use and basic troubleshooting.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills related to product specialists, with knowledge of garments manufacturing processes and sewing machine types.Candidates should possess strong analytical skills for diagnosing equipment issues, optimizing machine performance, and interpreting production data.Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with production teams, reporting maintenance activities, and explaining technical findings clearly.Candidates should possess customer service and internal stakeholder support skills to respond promptly to production floor requests and maintain cooperative working relationships.Candidates should possess basic sales and commercial awareness to understand production cost implications, efficiency goals, and potential impact on orders and client satisfaction.Relevant technical training or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is beneficial.Experience with industrial sewing machines, garment manufacturing equipment, and factory safety standards is highly desirable.Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, manage time effectively, and handle physically active maintenance tasks is required.
