Accord aims to be a leading provider of independent healthcare, upholding the highest standards of quality and patient outcomes.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Gastroenterologist role based at Accord Superspeciality Hospital in Faridabad. The Gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with gastrointestinal, hepatic, and pancreatic disorders, including outpatient consultations, inpatient management, and emergency care as needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing endoscopic procedures, interpreting capsule endoscopy and other GI investigations, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care. The role involves participating in clinical decision-making supported by the hospital’s smart systems, contributing to evidence-based protocols, and maintaining accurate, timely medical documentation. The Gastroenterologist is also expected to engage in patient education, support quality improvement initiatives, and adhere to all clinical governance and safety standards.Qualifications Clinical expertise in Gastroenterology and Medicine, with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and related systemic conditions.Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopy, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy, with strong procedural skills and adherence to safety protocols.Specialized knowledge in Hepatology for the management of liver diseases, including chronic liver conditions and related complications.Experience with Capsule Endoscopy and other advanced GI imaging and diagnostic modalities, including interpretation and integration into treatment planning.Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with MD/DNB in Medicine and DM/DNB in Gastroenterology or equivalent superspecialty qualification from an accredited institution.Valid registration with the appropriate medical council and compliance with relevant regulatory and ethical standards.Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and a technology-enabled environment.Commitment to continuous professional development, evidence-based practice, and participation in quality and safety improvement activities.
