We are currently hiring for a GC Analyst for our Dubai Office GC Analyst (Full Time/ Hybrid / Remote)Mission:To analyze consumer product fragrances using GC–MS, identify and interpret volatile and semi-volatile aroma compounds, and reconstruct balanced, application-ready fragrance accords for Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Air Care, and Home Care products.Scope of Work:• Analyze fragrances in fine fragrance, personal care, air care, and home care products using GC-MS/GC-FID.• Support fragrance formula reconstitution in collaboration with perfumers.• Determine fragrance dosage levels in fine fragrance samples.• Extract and analyze fragrances from personal care and household products.• Analyze perfumery raw materials and maintain the internal analytical database.• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of GC-MS/GC-FID instruments.• Collaborate with Perfumery, Compounding Laboratory, Application, QC, R&D, and Evaluation teams.Requirements for the position: Bachelors degree in chemistry ideally with specialization in chemical analysis.Master's degree in perfumery would be an advantage Professional experience in the field of GC analysis and in the use of corresponding software Bring around 4 years’ working experience in the Fragrance Industry with exposure to perfumery raw materials and/or fragrances, and with previous experience in GC/MS analysis.Experience in the Middle East market would be a plus. We are open to candidates who have experience outside the GCC region. Laboratory experience and knowledge of extraction methods. Basic understanding of operating the GSM Testing machine Knowledge in the field of fragrances and essential oils Flexible, organized and problem solver. Strong Focus on customer service Fluency in English Working knowledge of MS Office.
