By combining technology with industry expertise, BillBed helps businesses optimize travel costs and streamline accommodation management.Role Description The General Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, preparing journal entries, and maintaining accurate ledgers. This full-time, on-site role in Riyadh includes preparing and analyzing financial statements, reconciling bank and account balances, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The General Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies. The role also involves collaborating with other departments, preparing reports for management, and supporting audits and tax-related documentation.QualificationsStrong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash/bank management.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, pivot tables, and basic data analysis.Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.Ability to analyze financial data, prepare clear reports, and support budgeting and forecasting processes.Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage.Previous experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within a technology, travel, or B2B services environment.Familiarity with local financial regulations and tax requirements in Saudi Arabia is a plus.
