The organization is committed to ongoing expansion and development to offer the best possible healthcare services.Role Description The General Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations in support of clinic activities. Key tasks include recording and reconciling financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, preparing journal entries, and assisting in month-end and year-end close processes. The role includes preparing financial statements and management reports, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely payments and collections. The General Accountant supports budgeting and forecasting, monitors cash flow, and helps maintain compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. This role collaborates closely with administrative and clinical departments to provide accurate financial information and supports internal and external audits.Qualifications Strong skills in general accounting, including ledger management, journal entries, and financial reconciliation.Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support management decision-making.Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and cash flow monitoring.Ability to use accounting software and spreadsheet tools; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.Knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a healthcare setting.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA or equivalent) is a plus.Relevant experience in healthcare or clinical environments is beneficial.Ability to work on-site full time in Cairo and manage workload within deadlines.
