General Accountant

Key Responsibilities:Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with IFRS.particpate in month-end and year-end closing activities.Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.Manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including supplier reconciliations, payment preparation, and aging analysis.Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including customer reconciliations, collections follow-up, and aging analysis.Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations.Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax regulations, and company policies.Assist with external and internal audits.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Accountant.Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.Solid experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).Experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus).Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Professional certifications such as DipIFR, CMA, ACCA are an advantage.
