This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including recording journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling bank and account statements. The General Accountant prepares financial reports, supports month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensures compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards. The role also involves monitoring accounts payable and receivable, assisting with budgeting, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors to support accurate and timely financial information.Key Responsibilities:Record and maintain daily accounting entries in accordance with accounting standards.Manage accounts receivable, follow up on customer collections, and reconcile customer accounts.Handle accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers.Prepare and process monthly payroll.Perform bank reconciliations and monitor company expenses.Prepare financial reports, tax-related documentation, and management reports.Support month-end and year-end closing activities.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting (Faculty of Commerce).2-4 years of experience in General accounting.Participated in the preparation of balance sheets,budgets and financial forecasts  Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.Proven experience in General Accounting & Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced skills in spreadsheets (e.g., Excel). (Odoo is a strong advantage).Previous experience in fashion, retail, or manufacturing sectors is beneficial, as is familiarity with local tax regulations and compliance requirements.Ability to analyze financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and prepare clear, accurate reports for management.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with finance, operations, and leadership teams on-site.A positive, collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Ability to work onsite in Nasr City at Mostafa Alnahas Street.
