General Accountant

Role Description The General Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based at Grand Westside Manila Bay in Metro Manila. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts to support daily hotel operations. QualificationsStrong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, taxes and account reconciliation.Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing in a hospitality or service-oriented environment is an advantage.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis and report preparation.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data for decision-making.Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification or progress toward certification is an advantage.Integrity, discretion, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following internal controls and regulatory requirements.
