General Accountant

Job description:The General Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. The role also involves monitoring company assets, processing supplier payments, and supporting financial planning and internal reporting.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update the company’s books of accounts and prepare necessary financial reports.Perform bank reconciliation and other account reconciliations.Assist in internal and external audit requirements, including BIR audits, in coordination with the Finance Officer.Process sales and service commissions and incentives.Process accounts payable for key suppliers.Manage and monitor fixed assets.Oversee inventory monitoring and reconciliation.Process payments for utilities, rental, and other company subscriptions.Verify and check recorded sales transactions.Process government permit requirements and monitor monthly or quarterly renewals and payments to avoid penalties.Monitor accountable forms.Provide support in the preparation of the company budget.Perform other accounting and reporting tasks that may be required from time to time.Work setup: Full OnsiteWork schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pmDays of Work: 6 (Monday to Saturday)Qualifications:Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is optionalPreferably 1–2 years of experience in an Automotive Industry (Car Dealership)Excellent analytical and interpersonal skillsProficient in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Knowledgeable in SAPAbility to provide excellent customer serviceAble to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectivelyHighly organized with strong attention to detail
