General Accountant

About the CompanyFor one of the biggest Construction Group in Benghazi, Libya is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our finance team.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee general accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy in system entries and ledgers.Handle Vendors and Subcontractors accounts, invoice auditing, payments, and progress billing/settlements.Manage Clients/Customers accounts, tracking receivables, collections, and outstanding balances.Perform routine bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and track project cost accounting.Prepare trial balances and periodic financial reports for management review.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.Experience: +5 years of experience (prior contracting/construction industry background is a Must)Required SkillsProficiency in accounting software systems and MS Office applications (especially Advanced Excel).High accuracy, analytical skills, and ability to meet reporting deadlines under pressure.Pay range and compensation packageSalary: Competitive compensation package paid in USD ($), determined based on experience during interview.Accommodation: Company-provided, fully furnished housing.Transportation: Company transportation provided for daily commute/worksite access.Professional work environment with career growth opportunities.
