Company: ONE RM Equipment Sports Trading and Consultancy SPC LLC / YALLA HomeGymLocation: Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE (On-site)Employment Type: Full-timeSalary: 2500-3200 DirhamsRole SummaryWe are seeking an accurate, detail-oriented General Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, inventory costing, retail reconciliations, and tax compliance across our retail showrooms, commercial projects, and e-commerce channels. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience with UAE VAT regulations, inventory accounting, and financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & BookkeepingManage full-cycle accounting activities: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger entries.Reconcile daily point-of-sale (POS) retail transactions, online payment gateways, credit card settlements, and bank accounts.Process vendor payments, supplier invoices, customs duty charges, and import shipping documentation.Manage monthly payroll execution in accordance with the UAE Wages Protection System (WPS).Inventory & Cost AccountingCalculate landed costs for imported gym equipment (freight, customs, local transport, handling fees).Perform regular stock reconciliations between physical warehouse counts and the accounting/ERP system.Monitor inventory valuation, write-offs, cost of goods sold (COGS), and gross margin accuracy across product lines.Tax Compliance & ReportingPrepare and submit quarterly UAE VAT returns in strict compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) guidelines.Maintain complete audit trails and records for UAE Corporate Tax compliance.Generate monthly profit & loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, cash flow projections, and aging reports for management review.Key RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (ACCA, CMA, CA Inter) are an advantage.Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience in the UAE, ideally within retail, trading, e-commerce, or distribution.Tax Knowledge: Strong, practical knowledge of UAE VAT legislation, FTA reporting, and Corporate Tax readiness.Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar ERP systems).Inventory Handling: Proven track record in inventory costing, landed cost allocation, and multi-channel reconciliation.Availability: Immediate or short notice period preferred.How to ApplySend your updated CV to cs@1rm.ae with the subject line: "Application: General Accountant - [Your Name]".
