General Accountant

We are hiring a General Accountant with hands-on accounting experience who is looking to grow within a professional and dynamic work environment. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities and supporting accurate financial reporting and closing processes.📍 Location: Nasr City, Cairo🕒 Working Hours: 8 hours🗓 Working Days: 5 days/week💰 Salary: Based on experience🏥 Benefits: Elite Medical InsuranceWhat should you do?

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank, cash, and general ledger reconciliations
• Review invoices, expenses, and supporting financial documents for accuracy
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
• Prepare trial balances and support the preparation of financial statements
• Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation
• Assist with tax documentation and ensure required accounting records are properly maintained
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation and records
• Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing requested documents and reconciliationsWhat do we need from you?Experience:
• 3–5 years of relevant experience as a General Accountant or in a similar accounting roleEducation:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related fieldSkills:
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and procedures
• Good knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reconciliations
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience working with accounting or ERP systems (preferably Odoo)
• Good understanding of financial statements and closing processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
