General Accountant

RePay Digital Solutions is a fintech startup providing secure digital financial solutions for individuals and businesses. Its services include e-wallets, online banking, money transfers, bills payment, invoicing, and financial reporting, with a focus on building an accessible digital financial ecosystem for Filipinos.The General Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Muntinlupa City. The position handles general accounting, financial reporting, revenue and expense monitoring, payroll support, tax compliance, and financial controls, while also supporting RePay transaction reconciliation and KYC/KYB requirements.ResponsibilitiesManage bookkeeping and general accounting, including journal entries, general ledgers, supporting schedules, and month-end/year-end closing.Perform financial reconciliations and controls for bank accounts, RePay wallets, partner settlements, AR/AP, petty cash, reimbursements, and other financial accounts; investigate discrepancies and ensure proper supporting documentation and authorization.Prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and financial performance analyses.Manage billing and payables, including invoices, statements of account, collection schedules, supplier payment schedules, and supporting documents.Support payroll and employee benefits, including payroll inputs, deductions, benefits records, and statutory contributions.Monitor revenue, expenses, receivables, payables, liquidity, and profitability.Monitor RePay transactions, wallet balances, settlements, and fees, and escalate unusual or material discrepancies.Support BIR filings, audits, and applicable SEC, BSP, AMLC, NPC, and other regulatory requirements.Verify customer and merchant KYC/KYB documentation and support due-diligence and compliance reviews.Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by management.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is an advantage.Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, revenue and expense accounting, and financial closing.Knowledge of payroll, employee benefits, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and Philippine tax compliance.Familiarity with KYC/KYB, AML/CFT, and regulatory requirements is an advantage.Proficient in accounting software, Excel/Google Sheets, and financial reporting tools.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.High integrity, confidentiality, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a startup environment.
