General Accountant

Executive General Accountant – Cairo, EgyptMedia Land Group Egypt is seeking an experienced and hands-on Executive General Accountant to join our team in Cairo.We are looking for an accounting professional with 5–6 years of practical experience who can manage daily accounting operations while supporting the setup and organization of the company’s accounting and administrative processes.Key Responsibilities

• Manage and accurately record daily financial transactions and accounting entries.
• Review invoices, supporting documents, expenses, and accounting entries before posting.
• Manage and follow up Accounts Payable and supplier accounts.
• Review quotations and financial comparisons before purchase or contract approval.
• Follow up purchase orders, invoices, payments, and financial obligations.
• Organize and maintain accounting files, financial records, documents, and internal databases.
• Support the establishment of accounting and administrative files, document cycles, approval processes, petty cash, and custody records.
• Monitor administrative and operational expenses.
• Support budget preparation and monitoring in coordination with the Group Finance Department.
• Review Budget vs. Actual variances and report key observations to management.
• Prepare regular financial reports covering account movements, expenses, and financial obligations.
• Coordinate directly with the Group Finance Department regarding budgets, reporting, financial obligations, and internal financial controls.Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, preferably English Section.
• 5–6 years of experience as a General Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong experience in Accounts Payable, suppliers, expenses, quotations, invoices, and document review.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP or similar ERP/accounting systems is preferred.
• Strong financial data entry, analysis, and reporting skills.
• Fluent Arabic and professional English communication skills.
