Location: [UAE - Dubai]Industry: Automotive / Cars TradingPosition Type: Full-TimePreferred: Joining immediatelyJob SummaryThe General Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies, and supporting the Finance Department in achieving efficient financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, payments, collections, and reconciliations.Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, IFRS, and company financial policies.Support month-end and year-end closing processes.Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation records.Support internal and external audits while ensuring effective internal controls.Prepare financial analyses and provide management with accurate financial information.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3–5 years of accounting experience.Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and accounting principles.Experience with ERP/Accounting systems (SAP).Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.Salary Range: 5000 AED to 6,000 AED
