General Accountant

About the roleZIM Academy is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive General Accountant to join our team. This role is responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the company’s daily financial activities.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor accounts receivable, revenue, and outgoing invoices in compliance with accounting regulations.Verify and record accounting transactions using Fast Accounting.Prepare payment documents and manage accounts payable schedules for offices and branches.Recheck payroll data and handle quarterly Personal Income Tax (PIT) declarations and finalization.Liaise with banks, tax authorities, and relevant government agencies.Coordinate with construction contractors and monitor payments based on contracts and project progress.Perform other accounting duties as assigned.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.At least 2 years of experience in General Accounting.Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Fast, MISA).Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and a high sense of responsibility.BenefitsCompany-provided laptop and lunch allowance.13th-month salary and 12 days of annual leave.Annual company trip and performance reviews.Statutory insurance benefits.
