General Accountant (Costing Experience)

This role is based in Ho Chi Minh with weekly visit to Phan Thiet factoryResponsibilitiesAssist on the month/ quarter/ year-end Profit & Loss closing and ensure that all entries are correct. Be responsible for the archiving activities of all kinds of accounting books, invoices, original documents of the enterprise in accordance with regulations and the Company policy.Organize the implementation, monitoring, and control to ensure accurate, complete, and timely preparation and establishment of financial reports according to accounting standards, company policies, and current tax regulations:Verify, control data, subsidiary ledgers, general ledgers, and prepare reports, P&L, and reports as required by company management to control the company's assets, liabilities, and rights, detect and record, and adjust the books promptly based on the principles of Vietnamese and international accounting:Accurately record all manufacturing and operational costs, including depreciation of fixed assets, material costs, utility expenses, prepaid tools and equipment, outsourced services, and labor expenses as the basis for product costing.Prepare periodic expense reports and cost summaries.Analyze cost variances and identify causes to recommend corrective actions. Perform the accounting procedures for accounts related to production costs, ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Maintain proper documentation for all cost-related transactions and analyses. Verify and account for all purchase documents in an accurate and complete manner.Calculate material and cost estimates in line with the budgetCheck, verify, and strictly follow the company's regulations on goods import and export procedures using Smart Pro software.Monitor and manage information related to all assets and equipment within the factoryCarry out periodic inventory audits and resolve any discrepancies as necessaryPeriodic Inventory Report Support Finance Manager to provide books and data for the audit work and authorities in accordance with regulations.Other tasks assigned by Finance Manager.QualificationsBachelor’s degree major in Accounting/ Auditing required;Good communication skills in English. Being able to communicate in Chinese is an advantage. Working experience of at least 05 years in an accounting position or equivalent.Comprehensive knowledge in accounting and tax, experience in tax finalization audit.Must have experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/ year-end close process.Computer skills: Good at Word, Excel, Power point.Proficient in using SAP and Smart Pro Accounting software.Having integrity both personally and professionally, being trustworthy and reliable.Honesty, self-responsibility and good communication skills.Good analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills.Ability to present information in a consistent, organized, and a strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to think and withstand pressure well.Self-organize, arrange, develop plans and keep track of multiple tasks and deadlines to perform assigned tasks well.Hard-working, proactive, high integrity, passion for innovation and update new knowledge at work.
