General Accountant - Real Estate Brokerage

MAB Develop is committed to reshaping how clients experience real estate brokerage in the region.About the RoleWe are currently enhancing our internal processes, raising our operational standards, and expanding our team. We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly qualified General Accountant to take full ownership of the financial operations, compliance, and reporting for our real estate brokerage.Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Cycle Accounting: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and monthly bank reconciliations.Tax Compliance: Prepare, review, and file quarterly VAT returns and handle end-to-end Corporate Tax compliance and reporting.Regulatory & AML Compliance: Oversee and implement Anti-Money Laundering (AML) verification procedures, risk assessments, and required regulatory filings for real estate transactions.Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, profit & loss reports, and cash flow forecasts for senior leadership.Auditing Support: Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during financial reviews.RequirementsExperience: 2–5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, with proven experience within a Real Estate Brokerage.Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of local tax regulations (VAT, Corporate Tax) and real estate AML compliance frameworks.Software Skills: Proficiency in modern accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, or specialized real estate ERPs) and advanced MS Excel.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/ACCA/CIMA partial or full qualification is a plus).What We OfferCompetitive Salary (commensurate with experience)Comprehensive Medical InsuranceAnnual Flight TicketA collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
