Simmons & Hanbury has been exclusively retained by a fintech client to find a European General Counsel, based in Amsterdam.Reporting to the Group General Counsel and CEO, you will be responsible for leading the European legal team and being a key senior member of the global legal function.The ideal candidate will have:In-house experience within a financial institution (bank, fintech, digital assets etc) and understand regulatory requirements.Broad legal experience across corporate and commercial.Leadership experience, exposure to C-suite and management and development of a legal team.Experience of working in a fast paced/high growth environment.
