Team members join a supportive environment with opportunities to grow as the organization continues to expand.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Dentist role based in Jersey City, NJ. The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorations, extractions, preventive services, and management of dental emergencies. Daily responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, performing clinical assessments, interpreting radiographs, and educating patients on oral health and treatment options. The role also involves collaborating with hygienists, assistants, and administrative team members to ensure efficient patient flow and a high standard of care. The dentist will be expected to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, adhere to infection control and safety protocols, and follow evidence-based clinical guidelines.Qualifications Valid DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school and active New Jersey dental license (or eligibility to obtain).Strong clinical skills in general dentistry, including diagnosis, restorative procedures, preventive care, and basic oral surgery.Proficiency in interpreting dental radiographs and using modern dental technologies (e.g., digital X-rays, practice management software).Effective communication and patient education skills, with a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.Ability to work collaboratively with dental assistants, hygienists, and office staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.Dedication to infection control, OSHA and HIPAA compliance, and adherence to clinical best practices and ethical standards.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail in charting and documentation, and reliable time management.Completion of a General Practice Residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) is preferred but not required.Experience in a multi-office or DSO setting is a plus, along with comfort treating a diverse patient population.
