The General Dentist will perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients of diverse backgrounds and ages. Daily responsibilities include conducting restorative procedures (such as fillings, crowns, and bridges), performing extractions and basic endodontic treatments, and delivering preventive care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and patient education. The dentist will maintain accurate clinical records, ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols, and coordinate with dental assistants and administrative staff for smooth practice operations. The role also involves communicating treatment options clearly, building trustworthy relationships with patients, and participating in case discussions and continuous clinical learning.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong clinical skills in general dentistry, including diagnosis, restorative procedures, preventive care, and basic endodontic treatments.Candidates should demonstrate sound knowledge of dental materials, instruments, radiographic interpretation, and chairside infection control protocols.Candidates should have effective patient communication skills, including the ability to explain treatment plans clearly, provide oral hygiene counseling, and respond to patient concerns with professionalism.Candidates should be able to work collaboratively with dental assistants and administrative staff, manage appointment schedules efficiently, and maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or MDS equivalent recognized dental degree, with valid registration/licensure as required by local regulatory authorities.Candidates should show commitment to continuing education, ethical clinical practice, attention to detail, and a focus on quality care and patient safety.Prior experience of 2-3 years in a clinical dental setting, familiarity with modern dental equipment, and comfort working with diverse patient populations are beneficial.
