The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnoses, preventive procedures, restorative treatments, and basic cosmetic services. Daily responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, developing treatment plans, performing procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and scaling, and educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care. The role involves collaborating with clinical staff, maintaining accurate and compliant patient records, and upholding infection control and safety protocols. The General Dentist will also contribute to continuous improvement of service quality and patient experience in line with SmileXpress standards.Qualifications Valid BDS degree from a recognized institution; MDS in a relevant specialty is an advantage.Current dental license/registration eligible for practice in Bengaluru or Karnataka.Demonstrated proficiency in routine dental procedures, diagnostics, and treatment planning.Strong patient communication skills, including the ability to explain treatment options and provide preventive-care guidance in clear, empathetic language.Commitment to high clinical standards, infection control, and adherence to ethical and regulatory guidelines.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams.Comfort with using digital tools and dental practice software for documentation and coordination of care.Prior experience in general dentistry practice or clinical internships; experience in community or home-based care is a plus.Willingness to continuously update clinical knowledge and adopt innovative approaches to patient care.
