Day-to-day responsibilities include performing preventive care (cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants), managing periodontal conditions, and delivering basic endodontic and minor oral surgery services when appropriate. The role also involves educating patients on oral hygiene, documenting clinical findings, coordinating care with hygienists and dental assistants, and maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with applicable regulations. This is a full-time, on-site position located in South Bend, IN, requiring consistent collaboration with the clinical and administrative team to ensure a safe, efficient, and positive patient experience.Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.Active Indiana dental license (or eligibility to obtain), in good standing, and current CPR/BLS certification.Demonstrated proficiency in general dentistry procedures, including diagnostics, restorative care, preventive services, and basic endodontic and minor surgical treatments.Strong commitment to patient-centered care, including clear communication, informed consent, and culturally sensitive treatment approaches.Ability to collaborate effectively with hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff in a busy clinical environment.Attention to detail in charting, treatment planning, infection control, and adherence to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.Interest in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and staying current with advances in dental technology and techniques.Prior experience in a family or general practice setting is preferred but not required; new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
