The practice values clear communication, respect, and building lasting relationships with individuals and families in Michigan's Delta County, and surrounding areas.Role Description The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and a full range of restorative and preventive procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing fillings, crowns, extractions, and basic endodontic and prosthodontic services; overseeing hygiene care; and ensuring adherence to clinical and infection control standards. The role also involves communicating treatment options clearly, educating patients on oral health, maintaining accurate clinical records, and collaborating with the dental team to deliver coordinated care. This is a full-time, on-site position based at one or both of our Gallery B Smiles locations, located in Escanaba and Gladstone, Michigan.QualificationsDoctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental schoolActive Michigan dental license (or eligibility to obtain, within an agreed upon time frame), and current CPR/BLS certificationProficiency in general dentistry procedures, including diagnostics, restorative care, preventive services, and basic emergency managementStrong patient communication, chairside manner, and ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and diverse backgroundsCommitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and adherence to safety and infection control protocolsAbility to work collaboratively with dental assistants, hygienists, and office staff in a team-oriented environmentExperience with digital radiography and practice management or electronic health record systems is preferredWillingness to participate in community outreach and support the practice’s patient-centered values
