Please apply today!Compensation: $240,000 - $260,000 yearlyQualificationsGeneral Practice Residency (GPR)NYS dental licenseNYS residentStrong bedside manner and great communication skills are necessaryAdvanced knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is helpfulShould be computer proficientTwo years of dentistry experience in clinical or private practice is requiredUnrestricted and current state license in good standingResponsibilitiesWork alongside our dental hygienists, multi-specialty Doctors, and administrative staff in composing comprehensive treatment plansCoordinate and perform preventive dental care treatments such as sealants, x-rays, flossing, fillings, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicatedSeek consultation with dental specialists, such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, or periodontists when appropriateExamine the patients’ teeth thoroughly using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments to spot signs of dental diseases and determine the overall state of dental healthIdentify oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including cleanings, restoration, root canals, and surgical extractionsShow patients how to use recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as retainers and dentures and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene
