This role is responsible for day-to-day garden maintenance, including planting, watering, pruning, mowing, trimming, and weeding to keep all outdoor areas clean, healthy, and visually appealing. The technician will monitor plant health, identify basic pests or diseases, and apply approved treatments under guidance. Additional tasks include operating and maintaining garden tools and equipment, safely handling materials, and following environmental and safety standards. The role also involves supporting seasonal landscaping projects, assisting with irrigation checks, and collaborating with other team members to complete scheduled work on time.Qualifications Practical experience with basic gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, weeding, and general landscape maintenance.Ability to safely use and care for common garden tools and equipment (e.g., trimmers, mowers, irrigation tools).Knowledge of plant care fundamentals, including watering requirements, soil conditions, and basic pest or disease identification.Physical ability to perform outdoor manual work for extended periods, including lifting, bending, and working in varying weather conditions.Strong attention to detail, reliability in following schedules, and commitment to maintaining clean and orderly work areas.Basic communication skills to coordinate tasks with supervisors and colleagues and to report issues promptly.Willingness to follow safety guidelines, environmental best practices, and site-specific procedures.Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping is preferred; vocational training or courses in horticulture are an advantage.
