Plaza Premium GroupGeneral Ledger (GL) AnalystLocation: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) - JeddahExperience: 3-4 YearsJob SummaryResponsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, account reconciliations, journal entries, month-end closing, and financial reporting activities.The role will support accurate and timely financial reporting and work closely with the Finance team to ensure accounting transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and compliant with company policies, IFRS, and KSA regulations.Key Responsibilities• Prepare and post journal entries.• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations.• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.• Record accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries.• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure transactions are recorded in the correct accounting periods.• Review account balances and follow up on outstanding reconciliation items.• Analyze financial variances and investigate discrepancies.• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.• Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules required by management.• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other Finance functions to ensure accurate recording of transactions.• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and KSA regulations.• Maintain proper supporting documentation for journal entries and reconciliations.• Assist external and internal audits.• Support audit requirements by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.• Identify accounting discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.• Support continuous improvement of general ledger and financial closing processes.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.• 3-4 years of GL accounting experience, preferably in Hospitality.• ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, Sun Systems).• Strong financial reporting and Excel skills.• Good understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and month-end closing.• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.• Ability to work within reporting deadlines and manage multiple priorities.• Good communication and teamwork skills.Preferred• SOCPA, ACCA, CMA, CPA or equivalent certification.• Experience in hotel or multi-property accounting.
