The ambition is not to be another gym or spa, but to create one of the most distinctive wellness and performance clubs in the region.We are looking for a General Manager to lead the day-to-day operation, member experience, team culture, and commercial performance of Chairon House.The RoleThe General Manager will be responsible for the overall performance and operation of Chairon House. This person will lead the front-of-house, fitness, bathhouse, recovery, café, facilities, and member experience teams, ensuring every part of the club operates with precision, warmth, energy, and consistency.This is a highly hands-on role. The right candidate should be comfortable leading from the floor, solving problems in real time, coaching teams, managing standards, and creating an environment that feels both deeply premium and alive.This person should love fitness, love people, and understand how to make a space feel like a community - not just a facility.Must-HavesThe ideal candidate must be:Passionate about fitness, wellness, and performance culture. They should know what is happening across boutique fitness, recovery, pilates, HYROX, run clubs, wellness clubs, members’ clubs, or community-led fitness brands.Highly social and outgoing. This role requires someone who loves meeting people, building relationships, remembering members, hosting moments, and being visible on the floor.A natural community builder. They should know how to create energy in a room, connect members to each other, support events, and make people feel part of something.Extremely organized. They must be able to manage schedules, team rotas, operating standards, service checklists, follow-ups, vendor issues, and daily execution without things falling through the cracks.Operationally strong. They should be comfortable running a busy, multi-department space with high service standards.Hospitality-minded. They should understand that small details matter - how someone is greeted, how clean the space feels, how quickly a problem is solved, and how consistently the team delivers the experience. They should understand how to provide a 5 star hotel experience. Commercially aware. They should understand member acquisition, retention, sales, occupancy, customer satisfaction, and revenue performance.A strong people leader. They must be able to hire, train, coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable.Calm under pressure. across reception, member experience, bathhouse, fitness studios, café, retail, recovery, housekeeping, and facilities.Ensure the club runs smoothly, safely, and consistently across all departments.Maintain a strong working presence on the floor, especially during peak member hours.Create and enforce operating standards, opening and closing procedures, service protocols, and team checklists.Identify operational issues quickly and resolve them with urgency and ownership.Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and team deployment across departments.Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, hygiene, municipality, and operational requirements.Support pre-opening setup, launch readiness, vendor coordination, team training, and operating systems.Member ExperienceOwn the end-to-end member experience, from first visit to long-term retention.Ensure every member's interaction feels personal, premium, warm, and on-brand.Build systems for onboarding new members, handling feedback, resolving complaints, and improving retention.Create moments that help members feel recognized, connected, and part of the Chairon House community.Partner with the founder and brand team to bring the Chairon House philosophy to life through service, rituals, events, and community moments.Maintain high standards across atmosphere, cleanliness, music, scent, lighting, team energy, and overall club feel.Personally engage with members and act as a visible leader within the community.Community & CultureBuild a strong community inside and outside the club.Help create and host events, activations, member rituals, brand partnerships, and community gatherings.Build relationships with members, trainers, founders, creators, athletes, wellness practitioners, and local communities.Stay close to fitness and wellness trends in Dubai and globally, bringing relevant ideas into Chairon House.Make the club feel culturally relevant, energetic, and connected to the city.Represent Chairon House within the Dubai wellness, fitness, hospitality, and lifestyle community.Protect the brand standard at all times, from how the team speaks to how the space feels.Team LeadershipRecruit, train, coach, and manage the Chairon House team.Build a high-performance, hospitality-minded culture across all departments.Lead daily briefings, team training, performance reviews, and service coaching.Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to Chairon House standards.Develop team members into future leaders as the business grows.Work closely with HR or external support on hiring, contracts, employee relations, and performance issues.Create an environment where the team feels motivated, proud, and aligned with the mission.Commercial PerformanceOwn club-level performance across membership sales, class occupancy, retention, retail, café, recovery services, and overall revenue.Track and report key metrics including member growth, churn, attendance, conversion, utilisation, spend per member, and customer satisfaction.Work with the founder and marketing team on local acquisition, partnerships, events, corporate sales, and community-building initiatives.Identify opportunities to improve revenue, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency.Support membership sales and lead conversion, especially during launch and early growth phases.Facilities & Vendor ManagementOversee the condition, maintenance, and presentation of the full club.Coordinate with landlords, contractors, maintenance teams, cleaning teams, suppliers, and service providers.Ensure all equipment, bathhouse facilities, studios, changing rooms, café areas, and recovery spaces are operating at a high standard.Manage issue escalation, repairs, preventive maintenance, and vendor follow-up.Support future expansion, upgrades, or new club openings as needed.Required Qualifications & Experience4+ years of experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, luxury retail, members’ clubs, or premium service environments.Prior experience as a General Manager, Club Manager, Studio Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role.Strong understanding of front-of-house operations, team management, customer experience, and service standards.Proven ability to lead, train, coach, and motivate teams.Strong communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, people-filled environment.Commercially minded, with experience tracking performance metrics and improving business results.Strong organisational and time management skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, including spreadsheets and presentations.Fluent English required.Passion for health, fitness, wellness, hospitality, and community.Preferred ExperienceExperience in a restaurant or bar, premium boutique fitness studio, luxury gym, private members’ clubExperience with pre-opening, new site launches, or building teams from scratch.Experience managing multiple departments within one venue.Experience in Dubai or the GCC market.Knowledge of VIP clientele operations, fitness studio operations, class scheduling, membership sales, recovery services, café operations, or community programming.Strong local network across fitness, wellness, hospitality, lifestyle, creators, or brand partnerships.
