Team members join a growing, entrepreneurial environment with opportunities to shape operations and guest experience as the company expands.Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Etobicoke, ON. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, frontline supervision, service standards, and opening/closing procedures. The General Manager ensures high-quality guest experiences, maintains food safety and cleanliness standards, and monitors inventory, ordering, and cost controls. This role manages hiring, onboarding, training, and performance feedback for team members, and fosters a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. The General Manager also collaborates with ownership on local marketing initiatives, sales targets, and operational improvements to support brand growth.Qualifications Experience in restaurant or hospitality management, with a strong track record in daily operations, staff supervision, and guest service.Skills in team leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution, with the ability to build an inclusive, collaborative, and accountable culture.Competence in inventory management, cash handling, basic budgeting, and cost control to meet financial and performance targets.Knowledge of food safety, health regulations, and cleanliness standards, and the ability to implement and monitor compliance.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and ownership.Ability to work on-site full time in Etobicoke, ON, including evenings and weekends as business requires.Comfort with basic technology tools (POS systems, scheduling software, email, spreadsheets) to support operations and reporting.Previous experience in a fast-casual, quick-service, or multi-location restaurant environment is an asset.Relevant education or training in hospitality, business, or restaurant management is beneficial but not required.
