General ManagerThe Scoop N Scootery — Charlotte, NCSalary: $50,000–$70,000Schedule: Full-time, approximately 50–55 hours/week; nights and weekends requiredAbout the RoleThe Scoop N Scootery is Charlotte's only late night ice cream sundae take out and delivery store. We are known for our giant sizes and over the top ice cream sundaes.As the organization expands, Scoop N Scootery CLT is looking for an energetic, hands-on General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Charlotte location.Our GM leads from the floor and is expected to work alongside the team during any shifts—scooping ice cream, topping orders, running food, helping customers, and filling whatever position is needed while supervising the shift and maintaining a high standard of quality for each sundae.The General Manager will have significant autonomy over daily operations, staffing, hiring, training, customer service, and store standards. He or she will work closely with regional management to ensure a high level of customer service while working to hit financial KPIs.Responsibilities:Lead the daily operation of the store and supervise teams of approximately 6–10 employees.Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, and manage employees.Manage scheduling, call-outs, staffing issues, and shift coverage.Actively work on the service line during rushes while directing the team.Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns.Maintain cleanliness, food safety, opening/closing procedures, and operating standards.Maintain a fun, positive, accountable workplace.Work with the Regional Manager to manage labor costs, COGS, customer reviews, and other store KPIs.Act as the main point of contact to resolve day-today problems.Qualifications Required:Restaurant or food-service experienceAt least 5 years of professional work experienceAbility to work approximately 50–55 hours per weekNight and weekend availabilityStrong leadership, communication, and customer-service skillsAbility to stay organized and effective in a fast-paced environmentPreferred:Previous restaurant-management experienceExperience hiring and managing hourly employeesExperience managing restaurant KPIs such as labor and COGSNo college degree required.Physical RequirementsThis is an active position.
