General Manager — Greyhound Tavern, BrentwoodFreehouse Collective is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, passionate General Manager to lead our newest Public House, Greyhound Tavern in Brentwood.We’re looking for an authentic publican who thrives in fast paced, social environments and understands what it takes to create a great hospitality experience. Our ideal candidate brings a strong sense of culture and community, genuine compassion for hospitality, and the leadership skills to inspire a high performing team.Greyhound Tavern, Brentwood.A proper pub during the day, a lounge after dark. The room was built, not rolled out. Nothing on the menu is filler. The pints are poured correctly. Staff know the product well enough to recommend it. A DJ knows music well enough to play what they like. The right game is always on. Greyhound Tavern is about doing the fundamentals exceptionally well while creating a room with its own personality, energy, and sense of place. We’re looking for a General Manager who understands that a great pub is more than food, drinks, and service - it’s about creating a place the neighbourhood wants to return to.As General Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operations of Greyhound Tavern while creating an environment where guests and employees feel welcome, valued, and inspired.You’ll be a hands on leader who leads by example, stays engaged in all areas of the business, and understands that great hospitality comes from strong teams, consistent standards, genuine connection, and attention to detail.If you’re a passionate hospitality leader who loves the energy of a busy public house, takes pride in building great teams, understands the importance of product and service, and wants to help shape a new neighbourhood institution, we’d love to hear from you.
